30 Years of Humana Berlin, One Day of Learning

During their trip to Berlin, the July Team had the opportunity to visit one of the biggest Humana shops in Europe and learn more about the work behind the organisation.
The visit was especially meaningful as Humana is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Together with the dedicated staff of the Humana shop, the students took part in different tasks and activities, gaining practical experience and a deeper understanding of how a large second-hand shop operates.

The visit was not only a chance to work and learn, but also an opportunity to celebrate 30 years of Humana’s work and commitment to reuse, sustainability and social responsibility.
Through teamwork and practical action, the students could see how small actions, such as giving clothes a second life, can contribute to a more sustainable future.
It was an inspiring experience that connected the students’ practical work with the bigger ideas of recycling, sustainability, community and global responsibility.
