Bryan’s Story: Reconnecting with Humanity Through Volunteering Abroad

Hello, I’m Bryan Sanchez and I’m 24 years old. I’m from Colombia, a little bit in the center of the country. I wanted to sign up for a volunteer program with the intention of reconnecting with my humanity and learning about the reality of the world. I wanted to support the community, not only in my own country. I first saw the program on your website, I read it for a few minutes and I loved the dynamics and the information you presented. I called HPP in Spain and everything went super well. Life in Lindersvold is a lot of fun, although it has its responsibilities, I’m always enjoying the classes with the group, the time with my friends or the activities with my wonderful TRIO. It’s a combination of a challenge to prepare for the project and enjoying the process. An example of this are the “people exams“, they are challenging but fun.
If you’re looking for a meaningful way to grow, learn, and support communities beyond your own, explore the Volunteer for Change Programme.
It might be the beginning of your own transformative journey.
